It was the week before Thanksgiving and Sephora sent out their coupon sales. The damage began…
Tarte got me with the Quench Squad Hydrating Mini Lip Set. Tarte always gets me with the packaging. However, a sad fact is that I am allergic to Maracuja – an ingredient Tarte likes to use in a lot of their products. I went for this because it didn’t have the ingredient, the packaging is adorable, and they were the right size for my tiny purse. The balms are tinted and come in four shades.
Then came some lip color thanks to Stila. I am a fan of nudes or shades close to my skin tone that are compliment me. I often feel like I cannot justify full size lipsticks because I wear lipstick so infrequently. I buy them with the intention to wear more often and I seldom ever do. So the Stila In the Nude was just perfect for me because they are minis! One color seemed a little too light for me but I have worn it since purchase and I don’t hate it.
Origins products have dotted my Sephora Play Box and the little products have definitely done a good job of putting Origins on my skincare radar. I tried 2 of the masks in the Origins Mini Mask Musts gift set prior to purchase and I liked them enough to buy them again. I also liked them enough for them to prompt me into trying the other masks the line has to offer. 2o18 was the year of discovering how much I like clay masks and I am taking that energy into 2019 with this set for sure.
Hello, you had me at mask. The Laneige Kiss and Make up set came recommended from my best friend. I trust her judgement after all she is my best friend and clearly knows a good thing when she sees it. It also came recommended by another girl I know that has near perfect skin.
And to finish it up, the Sephora Playbox introduced me to Tarte’s Clay Blush Set which I really liked. I then got the same shade again in an Ipsy Glam Bag. Now I like the product but I’d love to try it in other shades but I don’t want the full size so when I saw the 4 minis it was definitely a go!
