Florida Landscape Seminar

Florida Landscape Seminar

My fascination with water began as a child, out on a boat on a South American river – dark, murky, opaque. What was below, I didn’t know. I knew only of the stories told of the creatures of this black depth. My second introduction was the Caribbean Sea, a blue to behold. Little did I know I would still be equally enchanted by the multiple hues twenty years later. That which existed below the surface was no longer a mystery, for I could see with precise clarity. For years more, the only freshwater I knew was dark; the only blue water I knew was salty. Until finally, I discovered the springs of Florida. It was a mind blowing combination of the best qualities of the two, the freshness of the dark river and the blueness of the salty ocean.
